Greetings from the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC)! We are delighted to inform you that, ICC is organizing an India Forum in Italy during 16th - 20th June 2024. The theme of the Forum will be the Indo-Italy Economic Partnership-Connection-Collaboration-Cooperation.
Senior Ministers and Officials of Government of Italy will address the Business Sessions. We expect over 100-125 Italian Companies to attend the event. The Forum would create a platform to engage with the government representatives and the business fraternity in Italy with an objective of promoting bilateral trade and investment opportunities and shall foster deeper economic ties between the two nations.
India and Italy - A Partnership for Centuries
● India and Italy celebrated 75 years of diplomatic relation in 2023
● Bilateral relationship elevated to strategic partnership
● The two countries announced setting up a Stratup Bridge
● There are more than 140 Indian companies in Italy
● Over 700 large Italian companies operate in diverse sectors in India
● The bilateral trade between the two countries was valued at US$ 14.25 billion in 2022-23
● Italy is India's 4th largest trading partner in the EU
● Relations between Italy and India are strengthening and are bound to increase in coming years

10.30: The Indo-Mediterranean Forum: The India Italy Economic partnership. Connection-Collaboration-Cooperation
(Chair: Senator Giulio Terzi di Sant'Agata, former Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and President of the India-Italy parliamentary friendship group.)
10.30-11.30 Trieste:
India-Middle East-Europe Economic
Corridor (IMEC) Opportunities and historic change. Will IMEC
start in Mundra and end in Trieste?
11.45-12.45 Geopolitical threats and challenges joint India-Italy engagement of trade partners in the EU. How to protect and nuture the Indo-Mediterranean.
Session will be held in collaboration with local Universities, Fondazione Luigi Einaudi and other partners.
13.00Working Luncheon Session: Topic & speaker (TBC)
14.30-16.15 BE IT: The Italian Economic landscape: Why invest in Italy?
2 Sessions bringing together the Made in Italy Ministry (Italian Ministry of Economic development), professionals and entrepreneurs including chambers of commerce, confederation of italian industry to discuss advantages for Indian companies
working in Italy.
Sessions will be of 45 min each with a coffee break of 15 min.
16.30-17.30Networking tea with a 20 min talk by a senior Professor of strategy from a leading Italian University.
19.00:Cultural event at the Auditorium
with the launch of VinItaly India followed by dinner. Evening to end by 2300

Organized in coordination with "Sistema Italia" different speakers to present solutions on cross border trade between India and Italy and financial mechanisms for equity, debt, EU funds and debt guarantees.
11.30BE IN: Make in India, opportunities and partnerships
This session would have speakers from the ICC delegates, state governments and other potential Indian attendees.
13.00 Working Lunch: Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini, Minister of Infrastructure and transport of Italy
To speak about Italy and India: Infrastructure, ports and sustainable mobility (tbc)

Each session will have two anchors, Indian and Italian. Both will represent the Industry association for that sector.
