Bangladesh is the largest trading partner and export destination of India in South Asia. As you know, India-Bangladesh bilateral trade has witnessed notable growth and India has maintained a favourable trade balance with Bangladesh even during critical times. ICC also has been working closely over past few decades with various Chambers and Govt. agencies of Bangladesh to promote bi-lateral co-operation. Hence, ICC is organizing a Business Delegation to Bangladesh from 24th to 26th August 2024. The objective of the business delegation would be to understand the business and investment opportunities available in the two economies of South Asia and to explore avenues for collaboration. Theme of this business Delegation is: Synchronizing Economic Cooperation and Strategic Partnerships. The sectors would include Textiles, Urban Infra, Energy, Health & Pharma, Agri & Food and Education.

• Enhancing Academic Partnerships and Knowledge Exchange (Faculty and Student Exchange Programs, Dual Degrees or Joint Certificate Programs) for sustainable economic growth between India and Bangladesh.
• Establishing collaborative Research initiatives aligned with the economic priorities of both the countries.
• Leveraging Technology and Digital Platforms for Education - Online learning platforms and digital collaboration tools to facilitate distance learning and virtual exchanges.
• Collaborative development of vocational and technical education programs to address skill gaps.
• Sharing best practices in educational management - Enhancing the quality of education through shared standards and benchmarks.
