Supply Chain Management (SCM) plays a crucial and pivotal role in adding value across various industries by optimizing sourcing management processes, reducing costs, enhancing productivity and efficiency, increasing profitability and also by improving customer satisfaction. There are various activities which hovers in the whole gamut of SCM, the major ones being Sourcing Management and Supply Management Strategies, Productivity, Procurement, Logistics and Inventory Management.
