In order to explore the need and importance of a regulatory framework for consumers and to discuss how the Consumer Protection Act'2020 guidelines will protect the interest of the consumers, the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is conducting a State Specific Webinar on the 'Consumer Protection Act' with the theme of 'GUIDELINES TO PROTECT THE INTEREST OF THE CONSUMERS' for the State Odisha on 31st August 2021 from 10.30 AM-1.00 PM. This webinar will address the analysis of CPA, 2019, Rules and Regulations specifically concentrating on New Chapters like Central Consumer Protection Authority, Mediation, Product Liability & provision relating to E-commerce and Misleading Advertisements. The webinar series will also analyze comparisons between CPA 2019 and CPA 1986 Act.
