Greetings from Indian Chamber of Commerce & Eurobank SA
Following the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Eurobank S.A. and the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), we have proceeded with our initiative to establish. The India-Greece-Cyprus (IGC) Business & Investment Council marking a significant step towards strengthening the economic ties between these three nations.
The MoU was signed in consultation with the Embassy of India in Athens and in the gracious presence of H.E. Mr. Rudrendra Tandon. Through this initiative, we aim to bring together government bodies, industry leaders, and investors from India, Greece, and Cyprus, unlocking the immense potential within each participating nation towards mutually beneficial growth. The scope of this collaboration is broad, encompassing trade promotion through market information exchange, trade missions, and B2B meetings; investment collaboration via investment summits and workshops; and business development through the sharing of best practices and the promotion of SMEs and joint projects.
The official India launch ceremony of the IGC Business Council will be held on February 13th, 2025 at 12 noon, in Rendezvous, Hotel Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai. Mr. Fokilon Karavias, CEO, Eurobank S.A. will remain present.
