Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and CSIR-CSMCRI are organizing the 4th edition of "India International Seaweed Expo and summit 2023 (IISES)" in Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) Auditorium in Ahmedabad on January 17th & 18th, 2023 to facilitate efforts to develop strategies and measures to promote seaweed industry in India and overseas. The theme of the summit is "Seaweed: Treasure Hunt – Indian Seaweed Sector"

The previous edition, IISES-2020 brought all stakeholders like academics, entrepreneurs, established Seaweed players and policymakers together at one platform from India and overseas. The resolution adopted in 2020 had been well accepted by the highest policy-making body of Govt. of India (NITI Aayog)) to boost this sector.
