The National Rail Plan 2030 outlines a comprehensive framework, identifying new dedicated freight and high-speed rail corridors, while aiming to increase the average speed of freight trains to 50 Kmph & 250 Kmph for the passenger segment. The goal is to create capacity ahead of demand by 2030, enabling the railways to meet growing demand through to 2050. This vision holds immense significance and underscores the importance of collaboration between government officials, private sector stakeholders, and industry experts.
