On the wake of realizing the importance of Agriculture Marketing from the North East, Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) wants to give special attention towards making Northeast Agriculture Marketing Hub of India. As a first step ICC is organizing a focused "Virtual Workshop on Agricultural Marketing From North East Region" in association with North Eastern Council, Ministry of DoNER, Govt. of India.

Objectives of the Workshop:

• To explore and identify new marketing strategies to market the farm produce with better value additions.
• Formulating Agriculture Marketing Strategy specifically for North East.
• To make the participants aware about the recent developments in Agricultural Marketing policies.
• To discuss about the marketing linkages needed for organic farming and its huge export potentialities for the North East Region.
• To encourage Agri Entrepreneurship to realize this huge potential & invest in North east.
• To make the participants aware about the improved technologies of agriculture and how these new technologies will aid the farmers.
• Financial planning required for fund management of the project.
• To prepare the roadmap to make North East an Agriculture and Horticulture Hub in South East Asia.
• To understand the infrastructure need- Cold storage, Transportation, Processing Facility, Retail Market for the proposed hub
