Indian Chamber of Commerce-North-East Initiative in association with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, would be organizing a 2-Day Stakeholders' Meet on 7th and 8th of March, 2022 virtually as a continuum to the 1st India Bangladesh Stakeholders' Meet organized on 22nd and 23rd October, 2019 regarding the BBIN Motor Vehicle Agreement and the Agreement to provide access of Chittagong and Mongla Ports to the North East India. The framework of the Meet would comprise following up on the Action points of the 1st India Bangladesh Stakeholders' Meet and the opportunities currently available by these path-breaking agreements, addressing loose ends during the operationalization of the Actions points and harnessing comprehensive cooperation of all relevant stakeholders of India and Bangladesh. The upcoming event would provide an extensive fillip to the establishment of business relations not only with Bangladesh, but also with South East Asian countries through the ports of Bangladesh.

The Event will also serve as a Platform For Business Development between India and Bangladesh in the sector of Textiles, Energy, Power and Renewable Energy produced in the North-East and which have a scope to be exported to Bangladesh.
