India envisions a US$ 2 trillion export figure by 2030 and as a result the Government has been taking a number of initiatives to spur export trade, support domestic consumption and bring in logistics efficiencies. The PM Gati-Shakti and recently launched National Logistics Policy in particular along with other associated initiatives such as Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP), E-LogS etc. A comprehensive exercise of mapping all existing/planned infrastructure initiatives of various Ministries and State Governments has been initiated under pioneering initiative of PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan (PMGS-NMP).
PM Gati Shakti is focused on road, railway, civil aviation among others and the success of the ambitions program shall depend largely on a robust framework which will ensure that the three major stakeholders: the Government of India, State Governments and the Private Sector work together to a common goal.
In this background, Indian Chamber of Commerce( ICC) as one of the most proactive and forward looking Chamber of the country looks forward to organizing a "Session on Gati Shakti" at 11:30 AM on 17th January, 2023 at IDCO Annex Building Conference Hall. The Session will be followed by Lunch.
