Dr. S Venkataramanaiah (S Venkat) is a Professor of Operations Management at IIM Lucknow and has 32 years of experience in teaching and research. He was a Postdoctoral Research fellow at Singapore MIT Alliance (SMA) Program, Nanyang Business School Singapore, worked at Honeywell Singapore as a SCM Lead Engineer. He worked at IIT Madras and IIM Indore and IIM Kozhikode before joining IIM Lucknow. Venkat was instrumental in the design and launch of five year integrated MBA Programme at IIM Indore. He has published over 100 research papers in peer reviewed international journals and international conferences.

He was a Best teacher award winner, Fulbright Scholar to USA and undergone training on global participant centered learning at Harvard Business School, USA. He is a certified professional in Lean Healthcare. He is a recipient of Nelson Mandela Leadership award and Jagatik Ayurvigyan Samman Award for his seminal work in the area of healthcare management. He has trained more than 400 MBA students on healthcare management during last three years from four premier management schools in India. He was also a jury member of Young Innovators award selection team.

He has won eight awards over last 25 years. He is also a marathon runner.

Dr. Jitendra Das, Director, FORE School of Management, New Delhi has been a Professor of Marketing and the founder Dean (Noida Campus) of the IIM Lucknow. With a B.Tech. and M.Tech. both from the IIT Delhi, and a doctorate from the University of Toronto, he has to his credit many national and international publications. His total years of experience is over 39 years. He has been a consultant to the World Bank, IDRC (Canada), GWB (for GTZ Germany), Coal India Ltd., GlobeCast India (a division of France Telecom), various ministries of the Government of India, etc. and member of a few policy committees of the Government of India. In academics, he has been associated with teaching at IIM Ahmedabad, Kozhikode and Lucknow, and at Danube Business School, Danube University Krems, Austria.

Dr. Das has received numerous awards and honours. Vishal Shah is one of the youngest Director of a family run business which has systematically grown into One of the largest integrated logistics organisation in India, today V-Trans commands a lot of respect and awe within the Industry largely due to the dynamism infused by him. He is young merely by age but he has a gift of gab for innovations along with quick grasping power, enthusiasm, risk taking abilities and an uncanny sense of timing. He has his values at right places and cares for every colleague at V Trans and involves himself regularly in CSR activities. In less than a decade of active association everyone believes in him as the leader who will take organisation to next level.

He completed his academics at Mumbai, did his schooling from Don Bosco, and graduated with BMS from Poddar College. After graduation he travelled to Nottingham University, UK, for doing his masters in Finance & Investment. Immediately after that he joined the family business in 2010 and like all new joiners; he underwent rigorous trainings and drills about company’s SOPs and daily functions. In his zeal to learn the basics correct and first hand he even spent one month at the tough environment of one of the trans-shipment centres and spent several days and night shifts there. For next two years, he assisted Mr.MK Shah, MD of the company in managing his various activities.

In his early days, he brought many big ticket businesses to the company one of them being Louroux. He led the project directly and accomplished it end to end, which paved the way for integrated solutions to other customers thru a single window. The project demanded managing C&Fs, primary transportation, multi-location warehousing and secondary transportation with JIT schedule. He stretched beyond normal operations level and came out with several innovative and out of box solutions which were adopted by the organisation for enhancing business. Aditya’s forte lies in his quick grasping of customers’ requirements and coming out with win-win solutions he learned the nitty-gritties of trade swiftly and incorporated them in his working..

Human resource, Technology and Marketing , Operations and credit control are something’s he takes great interest in and due to his efforts V-Trans has been established as a totally process driven company with a human face and heart. Rajeev is the Founder and Director of Kriyanvit Consulting, which is providing consulting services in the areas of Technology & Innovation Capacity Building, Sustainable Development, Project Development & Management, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Business Advisory, Market Entry & Investment Facilitation, Research & Analysis, and Advocacy & Outreach.

Prior to this, Rajeev worked as Director of the UNIDO-DPIIT International Centre for Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development (IC-ISID), New Delhi for over 5 years (from June ’15 to September ’20). At IC-ISID, he was leading the initiatives aimed at inclusive and sustainable industrial development, enhancing competitiveness of industries and clusters, capacity building to enable SMEs to absorb and diffuse technological advances and innovations, gender mainstreaming, and promoting South-South and Triangular cooperation. The focus areas of interventions included green technologies, circular economy, resource efficiency and cleaner production, occupational health and safety (OHS).

Before joining IC-ISID, Rajeev worked as the Director-Projects & Operations at the Global Innovation & Technology Alliance (GITA), a PPP company promoted jointly by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). At GITA, he was responsible for managing and implementing bilateral industrial R&D funding programmes with several countries (Canada, Israel, Finland, Republic of Korea, Spain, and United Kingdom) including technology/innovation fund management (with provision of soft loans/grants to enterprises and partnering R&D/academic institutes). He also led the programme activities under India-ASEAN S&T Development Fund (AISTDF) and EU funded project “Innovation Driven Initiative for the Development and Integration of Indian and European Research” (INNO INDIGO), in collaboration with the consortium partners.

Rajeev’s earlier assignment was with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) as Additional Director in its international division, where he was looking after the international affairs and trade/ investment promotion activities related to the Americas region.

Before joining FICCI, Rajeev served at the UN – Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT) where his responsibilities as In-Charge, Technology Transfer Services, included promotion and facilitating transfer of environmentally sound and sustainable technologies (ESTs) and sharing of best practices among Asia-Pacific countries. On behalf of APCTT, he was associated as Senior Consultant with the Technology

Bureau for Small Enterprises (TBSE), a joint initiative of APCTT and Small Industries Development Bank of
India (SIDBI).

Rajeev has been engaged in technology-oriented initiatives in several areas including paper, leather, cement, bicycles, smart manufacturing/ Industry 4.0, clean tech, ICT, smart cities and affordable health, agro-food, environment, electronics (ESDM/E-waste). He has represented at various national and international platforms.

He holds Masters (Hons) and Bachelor (Hons) degrees in Biophysics, Specialized Diplomas in Marketing & Financial Management, and WIPO-certificate for course on Biotechnology and Intellectual Property.
