As National Chamber of Commerce, ICC's Priority & Contribution to "Skill India Mission" By Causing Paradigm Shift in Skill Landscaping (Linked With Modern Industry) Towards Conversion of Poor Youth Into Skilled Human Capital.
Hon'ble Prime Minister has launched 'Skilling India' as a multi-skill development program on mission mode for job creation and entrepreneurship for all socioeconomic classes. Keeping this vision in mind, the Government of India has established a Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, to act as a nodal point for all initiatives on skill development in India by the various ministries/departments and state skill missions.
While recognizing the fundamentals of the problem vis-à-vis ways of the solution towards the transformation roadmap and pathways by dint of a focused nation-building activity linked with industry and commerce, ICC finds Skills Development & Entrepreneurship are two important imperatives for achieving India's ambitious growth targets aiming towards the creation of sustainable and scalable skills propositions.
The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM) jointly initiating to organize a Physical Conference on Skill Development to promote the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme" in Guwahati, Assam on 29th September 2021 at NEDFi House. This workshop will cover the following insight:
The Conference is expected to be addressed by Speakers from the ASDM - Govt. of Assam, NSDC - Govt. of India, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) & Industry Association. It is expected, that this initiative will open the doors to a new understanding of the diverse opportunities in Skill sectors.
