Odisha faces various healthcare challenges, including a high burden of communicable and non-communicable diseases, limited healthcare infrastructure in some remote areas, and disparities in healthcare access between urban and rural regions. However, the state has also made progress in several key healthcare areas, such as government initiatives like the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana and the National Health Mission, improvements in maternal and child health, efforts to increase immunization rates, investments in healthcare infrastructure, and the adoption of telemedicine and digital health solutions. Nonetheless, challenges persist, and the state continues to work on enhancing healthcare accessibility, addressing the shortage of skilled healthcare professionals, and promoting preventive healthcare practices to further improve healthcare services for its citizens.

Against this backdrop, Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in association with Department of Health & Family Welfare,Government of Odisha & Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI) is coming up with the 4th edition of "ICC Healthcare Summit" bringing together healthcare leaders, experts, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds onto a common platform. The "4th Healthcare Summit" is scheduled on 25th August 2023 at Hotel Swosti Premium, Bhubaneswar.
